Mission Marvel!

It has been a great week for everyone in Our Lady of Ransom School.
Mr. O'Brien asked a mission group in Brentwood called the Sion Community to come and tell the children about Jesus. Andy, Rob, Vicky, Edyta and Lynn(all part of the Sion Community) agreed to come to the school.
They sang songs with the children that teach them more things about Jesus.
On Thursday of Mission Week, all of the children were invited to do a presentation. The infants did theirs in the school hall and the juniors did theirs in Rayleigh Church.
Each class sang a song or told a story or poem that had sign language to help show the meaning.
On preparing for the mission, all the children in the school said this prayer each day:
Dear Lord Jesus,
You are my special friend. I want to know you better.
I want to listen to your word and follow in your loving ways.
Be with us all as we prepare for our school mission.
Please send your Holy Spirit to guide us.
Amen.
Everyone had a brilliant week and to end it, on Friday it was celebrated with a Mass.
