Local studies - the Cathedral and Dapdune Wharf
On Friday 12th June, Lower III went on a pilgrimage to St Martha’s Church in Guildford. Many Mums and dogs came on the walk. Not only did we learn about R.E., but we also learnt about many other subjects like………………

English… - Reading the information posts on the route.
Maths… - Finding our bearings by the tree.
History… - We found out about the history of the Church.
Geography... - Reading maps and using compasses.
Biology…Eeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrmmmmmmmm….well two of the dogs
found a liking for each other…well… you can guess the rest!

Drama… - One dog thought he would act as policeman and sat in the middle of the road, which caused many screams.
Food technology… - Eating our lunch…what a fascinating experience!
Art… - Gazing at the beautiful photos of ‘St Martha’s through the seasons’ in the church.
R.E… - We were privileged to meet a real live pilgrim on his way from Winchester to Canterbury
D.T… - Creating an ant free spot to have our lunch.
Who says that school expeditions aren’t cross curricular?!
