The club happens every Friday lunchtime. You get to play with your friends and meet other people. Mrs Berry helps by taking the ones who don't know much about chess. Some people get to play on the big chess set outside. I go to chess club because it is really fun. Mrs Marriott who takes the club is very kind and helpful. At first I got quite confused trying to remember which pieces move where and what they are called. However you soon get used to it and it feels really fun. In the spring term there is a tournament which is seven weeks in a row. If you win you get badges and stickers.
