Bear Day
|
We have received a lovely letter from Action Medical Research thanking us for the princely sum of £263.30 that was donated via the Paddington Bear collecting box.

Suitcase Sale
|
We have received a lovely letter of appreciation from Barnardo’s in respect of the £558 cheque that we sent them. The monies were raised from the recent ‘Mufti’ day and ‘Suitcase Sale’.

Race for Life Run
|
|
Mrs Wightman, Mrs Young, Mrs Chaventre and Mrs Sylvester took part in the Guildford Race for Life Run to raise money for Cancer charities. Mrs Prater is running in the Brighton run. Mrs Wightman won the Guildford race and is seen here in the photograph receiving her medal and certificate from Mrs Jefferies in Assembly. Normally it is the girls who receive awards in Assembly!

Cranleigh Village Hospital
|
Cranleigh Village Hospital Trust supplied us with packets of sunflower seeds that were soldat 50p per packet.
The seeds have been donated by Notcutts garden centre to help raise £2.5 million to build a new hospital for Cranleigh and surrounding villages.
There is a competition running for the tallest sunflower.
