History緣起

History
1)When I read the documents of the World Water Summit and studied the collection of rain for plants in my backyard, I discovered that water is so ecologically important to human beings. How polluted was that water? How does it benefit us? I had so many questions.But lots of people don't realize its importance. So I hope to build a website for children & youth called” The Conference of Water” to allow young people to learn, share their ideas and advices on water-related issues.
2) I once heard a story from India. Some women in India spend 3-4 hours per day just walking to and from their homes for water. If we can offer them a chance to learn some skills through ICT, maybe it will improve their lives!

緣起
當我閱讀世界之水高峰會議的文件以及嘗試在我家的後院中進行雨水的蒐集的計畫；發現水對人類的生與生態是如此的重要，但是大部分的人們並不知道他的重要性。例如；水是如何被污染？水如何的幫助我們？……我問了好多好多的問題，但是許多人們不知道他的重要性。於是，我希望為兒童與青少年建立一個網站----水的論壇。
讓所有的兒童與以青少年可以在這個場所裡學習、分享彼此的點子，以及報導討論與水有關的議題！
另外，我曾聽過一個與印度有關的故事：
一些女人每天的工作中有3～4小時的時間在為水而忙碌。如果我能夠透過ＩＣＴ協助他們學習一些技術，例如雨水的收集等。說不定可以幫助他們獲得一些水，藉以改善他們的生活。

Developed by E-Ray Huang (born on 1992) ,E-Ray is Chinese-American and lives in Taipei, Taiwan. He designed Conference of Water for children, youth around the world to offer kids a place to share their ideas and advice and to cooperate on water-related activities. Teaching children & youth about water, improving their skills through water-related activities, offering equal opportunities for girls and boys and helping them industry our goals to get their first job in a water-related. Every human being need water!

此項目為黃顗睿（出生於1992年的華裔美人，現居住於台北)所發展,他為全世界的孩子及青少年設計了『水的論壇』網站，為他們提供一個有關於水的議題的學習及分享彼此構思、心得想法及建議的空間。透過與水有關的各項活動，教導孩子與年輕人學習與水有關的知識及利用水及水處理的技術，並且使得女孩與婦女們在此可獲得與男孩們等同的學習機會，藉由所學會到與水有關的知識及技術，協助他們獲得第一份工作，以改善人類的生活經濟。因為，人類是如此的需要水分。
