We introduce you to the first "Project Within A Project" within My Country. It is called "Where We are in the World". This month we go to America where we are introduced to a SchoolNet Global school complete with pictures. The school is Worcester Preparatory. It is located in Berlin Maryland. That's right, Berlin Maryland USA, not Berlin Germany. Maryland is one of the States on the Atlantic Seaboard. The kids at Worcester Prep are not far from Washington DC, the capital of the United States of America. The teacher responsible for SchoolNet Global activities at Worcester Prep is Dr. Merle Marsh.

Just Click on the map to learn more about Berlin Maryland. Other states near us are: Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Virginia. Washington has DC after it because it is in the District Of Columbia. This district means that the capital of the USA isn't in a state at all.
