Year 1 Trip to Abbey House Museum
Year 1 thoroughly enjoyed an action packed day at Abbey House Museum on Tuesday. They spent the morning in the recreated Victorian cobbled street, where they were shown many interesting artefacts, including old CD's! In the afternoon the children enjoyed a toy workshop where they could touch, play and sort old and new toys into groups. This was followed by time to look at more old toys in the museum. They ended their visit with a 'siesta' in the Old Woman's Shoe and modelling some of the museum's many dressing up outfits.
