Magic: Onslaught Block

The Onslaught block was designed as the final wrap to Seventh edition, so the Magic designers let it all hang out with this one. Gross creatures, huge numbers of creatures, and more creatures. Including Slivers, which everyone agreed was a very good thing indeed.
From this point back, we're no longer routinely reordering theme decks for each Magic expansion.

The BIG creature set, featuring literally tons of Dragons and huge elementals. Fatter than a sumo wrestler who'd just accidentally swallowed another sumo wrestler.

Tramp, tramp, tramp - the sound of the iron booted goblins marching to war. Just like everyone else. Everything's a creature in this set (which left poor old Blue feeling a bit of a pinch).

It's all out war, no holds barred, no quarter given as Akroma and Phage bring all out apocalypse to the world of Magic, with Kamahl caught in the middle of a white/black sandwich. Nobody's singing Ebony and Ivory tonight!
