Rebel Storm Starter *New Price* £14.99

Rebel Storm Booster £8.99

The force is strong with this one! So what if the UK Census refused to allow your choice of 'Jedi' under religion - you can still join the Rebellion, stay on the Fringe or turn to the Dark Side at Fan Boy Three. Following on from the success of their D&D Miniatures game line, Wizards of the Coast turned to their other big RPG property. Gamers around the world rejoiced, while their bank managers groaned. The named characters *might* all be rares or super rares, but lets face it - what you really want are a hundred common stormtroopers, Boba Fett and Princess Leia dressed up as Jabba's Captive.

I have a Very Bad Feeling About This...: Like D&D Minis, the Star Wars 'game' is a cut down version of the RPG. If anything, Star Wars plays faster, on account of the infinite blaster range. Add your D20 roll to your attack bonus, hit the target's defence, knock off your damage in hit points. It's as easy as bullseyeing wamp-rats in your T-16 back home!

Let the Wookie Win: Last Jedi standing brings home the Rancor steaks. At our launch party, that was starter set Darth Vader. Weenie hordes are probably not the way to go with Star Wars!

Organised Play: Judging by the response, we'd be fools not to run Star Wars as a regular event (despite the lack of official prize support). Since Phil and I both want to play, expect to see it slotted in on Friday nights from October.
