Ever since Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson came up with the world of Blackmoor, players have wanted to adventure in somewhere with a bit more soy sauce than Generic Dungeon Level 14. And DM's can run adventures safe in the knowledge that they'll be able to field questions like who rules Cragstone Keep, and how many Hobgoblins live in the nearby mountains.
