HOW TO JOIN ST GEORGE'S SINGERS
|
With a current singing strength of over one hundred voices, St George's Singers is still ready to audition new members. All over 16 years are welcome so if you are interested in joining the choir (Tenors and Basses are especially welcome) all you need to do is:

Come to our open evening in September.
Rehearsals
Our rehearsals take place in the new Hall behind St George's Church, Poynton and begin with a vocal technique session. We rehearse every Tuesday at 7.30 pm starting this season in September 2007 and continuing until the end of June 2008. We finish every season with a social evening on the Tuesday following the last concert.
Subscriptions
The annual membership subscription for 2007-2008 is £120.00, which may be given in a single payment or in two 6 monthly payments or by standing order over ten months.
A concessionary rate is available for those who are students or under 25 years of age and amounts to a single payment of £20 for the year.
