HOW TO JOIN ST GEORGE'S SINGERS
|
With a current singing strength of over one hundred voices, St George's Singers is still ready to audition new members. Although there is a waiting list for the alto section, there are vacancies in the soprano, bass and the tenor sections. All over 16 years are welcome so if you are interested in joining the choir (tenors and basses are especially welcome) all you need to do is:

Rehearsals
Rehearsals take place in the hall behind St George’s Church, Poynton, every Tuesday evening, beginning at 7.30 pm until 10.00 pm. The season this year runs from 6 September until our final concert on 17 June 2012, followed by our annual social evening the Tuesday after the concert.
Subscriptions
The annual membership subscription for 2011-2012 is £130.00, which may be given in a single payment or by standing order over five months.
A concessionary rate is available for those who are students or under 25 years of age and amounts to a single payment of £20 for the year.
