The picturesque seaside town of Southwold was the first stop on Sunday. Another impromptu performance of Locus Iste at St Edmund's Church and a bite to eat, then off to Blythburgh Church, where the Black Shuck, a hell dog, was said to have terrorised the parishioners one stormy Sunday morning in 1577. The evening concert of Mozart's Requiem was well received by the unexpectedly large audience.
The tour was brought to a fitting close on Monday with choral evensong in the magnificent Lincoln Cathedral.
