“A beacon of hope for a positive future”
A joint Autumn Term challenge undertaken by the children from Peatmoor and Salisbury collected 69 large boxes of recycled goods including computers, laptops (donated by Motorola), sewing machines, early years toys, children’s books, hand tools, sports equipment, classroom white boards, clothes, shoes ,and blankets. The recycled computers will be used in the school and will also set up an IT training project within the local township community.

Swindon Services donated a truck and time to weigh and transport the boxes from Peatmoor to RAF Lyneham.
The RAF flew the boxes out to Pretoria. The truck to transport boxes from Pretoria to Dihlabeng was funded by money raised by the children. This included a DT Exhibition and Sale of craft work made out of recycled/reused items at Leaden Hall and Peatmoor School. The boxes were donated by the Great Western Packaging Company in Swindon.
