The aim of the Curriculum for Excellence is to enable all children (aged 3-18) to develop their capacities as successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors to society.
The Scottish Executive Review Group report tells us that “The curriculum reflects what we value as a nation and what we seek for our young people. It should enable all of the young people of Scotland to flourish as individuals, reach high levels of achievement, and make valuable contributions to society.”
