Here is an example of our Lean Green Litter Machines.
Each day two children will gather litter from the playground at play time and put it in the bin.
|
|
|
We have started work on the Eco-Schools programme and hope that it will not be too long before we achieve our first Eco Flag. We have an Eco-Committee made up of children, parents and teachers who meet regularly to discuss ways to improve our school environment.
The three areas we are focussing on to begin with are Health, Litter and Waste Minimistaion. So far we have created a new Litter Policy and started three whole school initiatives - Toasty Tuesday, Fruity Friday and Lean Green Litter Machines. |
