Many former pupils of St. Mary's have been extremely successful in their studies at St. Aidan's. In 2007 the winner of 'Cardinal Winning Memorial Award' for Excellence Gold Medalist was Paula McCahon. She is now at Dundee Univerity studying Medicine. Many former pupils have commented on why they chose to attend St. Aidan's.
