S6 pupils wear a red stripe round their blazer cuffs.
Prefect and House Captain
Prefect and House Captain
Prefects are identified by red and white braiding round their blazer cuffs, with House Captains also wearing a badge with their house name. Deputy Head Boys and Girls wear white, red, white banding round their blazer cuffs and Head Boy and Girl wear red, white, red banding.
Colours are awarded to pupils who have had a high level of performance and achievement at extra-curricular activites for a lengthly period of time, representing Aberdeen Grammar School, an Aberdeen City school group or participating at district, regional or national level. Chosen pupils are also responsible, committed, reliable, punctual, courteous and conduct themselves appropriately in and around school, wearing school uniform where appropriate.
Junior Colours
Junior Colours

Junior Colours may be awarded to pupils in S4 but in exceptional circumstances may be awarded in the last term of S3 (June). Pupils with Junior Colours are identified by red braid along the top of their blazer pocket.
Half Colours
Half Colours

Half Colours may be awarded to pupils in S5 but in exceptional circumstances may be awarded in the summer term of S4 (June). Pupils with Half Colours are identified by the wearing of a sky blue coloured tie, featuring the Aberdeen Grammar School badge.
Full Colours may be awarded to pupils in S6 but in exceptional circumstances may be awarded in the summer term of S5 (June). Pupils with Full Colours are identified by full red braiding round their blazer.
