We have been learning about shape.
|
|
In P1 we start school at 9am and finish at 2.50pm.
Our lunch break is from 12.10 - 1.10pm.
We have a “Buddy” from P7 who looks after us in the playground. We get to know them when we are in Nursery. We get our photograph taken with them which we can keep.
We have PE on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday so we must remember our shorts and t.shirts.
We have Art on a Thursday. An old big shirt or t.shirt is a good idea because sometimes it can be a bit messy.
We have Music with the Music Teacher on a Tuesday.
C.A.P.E.R. (Children and Parents Enjoy Reading) is on a Monday morning for P1, P2 and P3. This is when we can go to choose a book to read at home. We can change it every Monday as long as we bring the other book back. We get a booklet to fill in to tell if we liked the book or not. When we read 10 books we get a certificate.
On a Tuesday after school we have “Story Club”. This is especially for P1 and P2 classes. It starts at 2.50pm and finishes at 3.20pm. This club begins in October and runs until May. A letter will be sent home informing you of the dates. If a date needs to be cancelled a letter will be sent home as well as being in the pupils purple diary.
