In P2 like P1 we start school at 9am and finish at 2.50pm.
Our lunch break is from 12.10 - 1.10pm.
We have Art on a Monday or Thursday. An old big shirt or t.shirt is a good idea because sometimes it can be a bit messy.
We have PE on a Wednesday and Thursday and Let’s Move on a Friday so we have to remember our shorts and t.shirts.
We have music on a Tuesday morning.
C.A.P.E.R. (Children and Parents Enjoy Reading) is on a Monday morning for P1, P2 and P3. This is when we can go to choose a book to read at home. We can change it every Monday as long as we bring the other book back. When we read 10 books we get a certificate.
On a Tuesday after school we have “Story Club”. This is especially for P1 and P2 classes. It starts at 2.50pm and finishes at 3.20pm. Miss Ransom along with Ms Brough and Mrs Glendinning take turns to read us a story.
In the summer term in P2 we get to design and make our own miniature gardens. We plant grass seeds which we need to cut and make small patios and we can have a pond. We also get to make miniature benches using wood and proper saws. We get to plant seeds and to look after them.
