About Us
Our School Council meets once a month or more if needed.

Our aim is to improve the school by finding out pupils' opinions on various activities such as playground equipment,books and DVDs.

The class reps ask their class what they would like to see in the classroom or playgrounds. We also have Suggestion Boxes around the school where the pupils can write their ideas and put them into the box. The School Council Secretary collects the ideas before the next meeting and an agenda is drawn up. The meetings are run properly and we receive the minutes of each meeting.

The council in the past has helped to improve the school by getting a CDT trolley, mirrors for the boys' toilets, pencil bins for around the playground to encourage the pupils to put litter in the bin and benches for people to eat their snack.

This year the council has already upgraded the playground equipment.

We are going to be organising rules for the playground, upgrading the playground with hedges and bushes and looking at new books for the library. We have also suggested that the school buys more Technology resources and a Modern Languages computer programme.
