You will be happy to hear that we are creating blogs in Room 2 for parents and carers to read about our week in school. We will add to this as often as we can to improve communication between home and school.
This week we have two big events in the school. On Wednesday, right after school there is a family film show for the P1,2 and 3 children and their parents,( there is a later showing for older children right after the infants,) and on Friday we have a spectacular Taste-a-thon day, where the children will be invited to make and taste the smoothies made in the school that morning.
The children will also be preparing for a presentation to parents for Catholic Education week. Watch this space for details for the week beginning12th February.
The children have a new reading book again this week and P.1 will be working on the same set of tricky words as last week; page two for P1 and a new set Page three for P.2

Well done to Matthew Wilson who won the smart award this week for his writing. He gained a place at the golden table where he sat down to eat with the Head Teacher.
