2009 Winning Choir
After years of trying we have finally done it!
Our choir is officially the best in the city. At the recent City Sings competition our choir not only won best primary school choir, but also best choir in the competition!

Our choir not only beat choirs from seven other primary schools, but also four choirs from secondary schools.

The theme at this year's competition was "The City Sings Goes Dancing". Choirs were asked to sing a song with a dance theme so our choir sang the traditional English song, "Tomorrow Shall be my Dancing Day". Our second song was an Italian song called "Cantero" which received extremely high praise from the adjudicators.

We would like to thank everyone connected with the choir for their fantastic work and support and especially Miss Ni Chomhrai but the work doesn't stop there! The choir are now starting to work towards putting on an end-of-year show for parents and friends.
