Once again we have taken part in the Christmas Box appeal.

This year we collected a staggering 193 shoe boxes full of Christmas delights. 193 boxes is very nearly a box per family in the school, which is a fantastic response.

We hope that the children who receive the boxes have a really great Christmas and are thankful that we were able to help others at this time of year.

And next year, who knows, perhaps we will be able to help even more children have a happy Christmas.

Miss Phazey, who organised the collection in school, was quiet worried just a week before Mrs. Jones came to collect the boxes, as we had only 15 boxes. But, she need not have worried as boxes flooded in during the next week and Mrs Jones had to ensure she brought a big car to collect them all.
