Researching
In History, this term, we have been studying the Romans. To find out about the Romans, we used books, pictures and internet sites to help us. We worked in groups to research a particular topic, such as "Roman Army" or "Way of Life".

Compiling our information

Each group then shared their findings with the other groups. We put all the information together on sheets so everyone could access it.

Roman reports
Since we now knew so much about the Romans, we decided to write a report about them. We planned the layout of our report carefully, deciding what would need to be included in each section.

Writing our reports

First draft
We used our planning to write our reports in full. We included an introduction, sub-headings and a glossary. We then brought our work to Miss Ni Chomhrai so she could help us to edit it and improve it for the final draft.

Final Touches
adding drawings
We put our report together in a red and gold cover to make it look more Roman. We used Roman writing on the front and put some pictures in our report to make it more interesting.

Finished Reports
final product!
This is an example of a finished Roman report. We spent a lot of time on them and put a lot of effort into these reports. We think the finished product shows this hard work was well worth it!
