This page gives you an example of the kinds of effects you can create using a Flexible Grid Template. This page uses a grid which is 3 columns wide and 6 rows down the page. This first paragrah spans the whole width of the page. To do this, click in the box "Span to end of the row" in the Page Editor.
In reality you would not want your page to look like this! You may wish to have:
an introductory paragraph above a grid of 9 or 12 images, all with captions linked to other parts of your site
A grid of 9 text blocks with thumbnail images each linking, for example, to another website, or pages within your site.
One large image with text underneath - for this you could use just one column and one row.
A grid of 5 columns x 5 rows, comprising thumbnail images which click through to other pages.
A list format with images aligned left and text aligned right.

Row 2

In this row, we have used three columns separately, with text in the first column and images in the second and third columns. We have sized the images to the same width using PhotoShop. Only column 1 has a subheading. Each image is 170 pixels wide.

This paragraph is created in Row 3, and set to span to the end of the row. We have not used a subheading for this row.
In the row below (Row 4), we have added an image and associated text into each column. We have aligned the image Centre(Below) and have added a subheading for each image/text block. Each image is 170 pixels wide.
We have set the left hand image to act as a link to the Intuitive Media Website Awards page using the link tool at the bottom of the grey text input box.

This is Row 5. We have used the third column for our text and the first two columns for the image. We have sized the image to 375 so that it aligns nicely with the images on the rest of the page. If this image were wider, it would force the first column to be wider than the other two. We have added a caption to our image and linked both the caption and image to an external website.
