Templates - Feedback Form
|
|
|
This is a feedback form. This text is written in the Introductory Article. You can also add an image if you choose.
Form Settings
You can specify how many fields (input boxes) to display on your form. We have chosen 8. You can also specify who you want the completed form to be sent to by adding one or more email addresses (seperated by a comma) into the Target Email Address in Edit Page mode. You can add an Email Subject to identify emails from this feedback form. For example "Comments on our Website"
Error Highlight Colour
You can specify whether fields are required or optional and choose a colour to highlight which fields have not been completed. This highlight will show when the visitor clicks SUBMIT. Try out the form below to see which fields we have specified as required.
Customising Fields
Each field can be customised in a number of ways by selecting the Input Type. Choose the type you want then wait for the automatic update:
- Text box - a simple box for people to write in.
- Text box Multi Line - good for comments, addresses etc.
- Pull down menu - add values seperated by a comma
- Check box - visitors tick a single checkbox.
- Multiple checkboxes - visitors can tick several options from a range of check boxes you specify
- Radio buttons - visitors can select one from a range or options you specify.
You can add an explanatory note which displays beneath each field to help your visitor decide what to write.
Field Label / Data Label
The field label is the question your visitors see on the feedback form.
The data label is what is displayed on the email sent to the target person/people. The Field label and data label can be the same if you choose.
Confirmation Page
At the bottom of your page editor, you will see an item called Confirmation Page. This is the page that visitors are taken to once they click SUBMIT. We have created a thank you page within this guide and linked it back to the home page.
Note that each page within your take2theweb site has a letter reference. The first section is section a. The pages within this section are page aa, ab, ac, etc, up to page ap.
The second section is section b and the pages within this section are ba, bb, bc etc.
To view the page references, hovver over one of the navigation buttons on the left. You will see the page reference displayed in the status bar at the bottom of your browser window.
Simply select the reference of the section and page you wish your visitor to go to once they click SUBMIT. We have chosen page bp.
Please send us your Feedback
You can use this form to send us genuine feedback about take2theweb, or, if you simply want to use it as a test, write TEST in the Name field.
